(btw, I'm not assuming you guys don't already have these albums, but just in the case that you don't...)
DM Stith: Heavy Ghost
- Very much in the GB vein, but also unplaceably different. Album starts very scattered and meandering, but ends in one of the most gorgeous 3 track suites I've ever heard.
Horrors: Primary Colours
- Sounds like the ghosts of Joy Division coming to haunt us.. best I can put it, but its more original than just another JD ripoff. Low Fi production is really great.
Plants and Animals: Parc Avenue
- On first listen, especially compared to GB, this can be easily dismissed as "nothing new". But after a few listens, it just kind of grabs you as really good folk rock. I've learned to love this one.
Here We Go Magic: Self Titled
- All of you probably have this one since Ed tweeted about it, and they're friends with GB. But if you don't have it, get it. Another one that grabs you after a few listens.
If you like GB, you owe it to yourself to go pick up DM Stith.
